Update the company's default software catalogue and align Microsoft Intune laptop deployment processes to ensure security, compliance, and productivity. Supports improved user experience and streamlined management.
- Review and update the software catalogue, removing outdated apps and adding new, approved ones.
- Package/test software for deployment via Intune.
- Enhance Intune deployment workflow to use new defaults.
- Minimize deployment/user disruptions via documentation and automation.
- Ensure security, licensing, and compliance.
- Communicate and train users/support teams as needed.
Project reviews, revises, and deploys updated default software for organization-managed laptops (under Intune). Excludes BYOD/personal devices and unmanaged equipment.
- Assess existing catalogue for updates/removals/additions.
- Source/package new/updated applications.
- Test packages on reference machines.
- Update Intune profiles and scripts for new deployments.
- Validate with IT and security teams.
- Communicate changes and provide documentation/training as necessary.

- Major Intune infrastructure rebuilds (beyond compatibility needs).
- In-depth training beyond basic guidance.
